How to: Send a public key to fax recipients.
Solution:
Use 'Microsoft Fax Tools' in the 'Tools' menu of Microsoft Exchange to activate the 'Advanced Security', and click 'Public Keys'.
1) Double-click the 'Inbox' icon on the Windows 95 desktop to start Microsoft Exchange. (The 'Inbox - Microsoft Exchange' window appears.)

NOTE: If the 'Inbox' is not visible, Microsoft Exchange may not be installed. Install Microsoft Exchange.
2) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Microsoft Fax Tools'. (A submenu appears.)
3) Select 'Advanced Security...' from the submenu. (The 'Advanced Fax Security' dialog box appears.)
4) Click 'Public Keys...'. (The 'Fax Security - Key Set Password' dialog box appears.)

5) Type the password key you would like to send in the 'Password' box and click 'OK'. (The 'Fax Security - Managing Public Keys' dialog box appears.)
6) Click 'Save...'. (The 'Fax Security - Save Public Keys' dialog box appears.)

7) Select the name(s) to which to send the public key and click 'To'. (The name appears in the right list box.)
8) Click 'OK'. (The second 'Fax Security - Save Public Keys' dialog box appears.)
9) In the 'Save in' drop-down list, select the drive in which to save the public key file.
10) Select the folder in which to store the public key file and click 'Open'.
11) Type a name for the public keys in the 'File name' box.
12) Click 'Save'. (The 'Fax Security - Managing Public Keys' dialog box reappears.)
13) Click 'Close' twice to return to the 'Microsoft Exchange' window.
14) Send this key file to another user either through network communications or on a disk.
NOTE: The recipient must import the public key into Microsoft Fax.
